You can ask us to close your client portal account and the AJH Accountants app at any time. This page explains exactly what we remove, what we are required to keep, and how long it takes.
These records are held for six years from the end of the engagement and are then destroyed. We cannot shorten this period — it is a legal obligation on the practice, not a choice.
We acknowledge every request by email within five working days and confirm once the account is closed. If you have an engagement in progress we will tell you what is outstanding before we close anything, so nothing is left unfiled.
Use the email address on your account so we can find it. You do not need to give a reason.
